Classroom Matching Exercise
This simple matching exercise reinforces vocabulary and spelling. Students worked in pairs to match the words with the pictures. After practicing, I timed them and wrote the best time on the board. Students raced a second time to see if they could beat it. I laminated so I could reuse. They can also be used as a memory game.

Minimal Pairs for Group - l and r
I teach the correct pronunciation first by having students repeat the words after me two or three times. Then I call out one word of each pair and ss circle what they hear.
