Sentences to cut up and practise the present perfect
Each pair of students receives a strip of paper. They have to write a dialogue such as:
-I�ve had lunch with Alicia Keys.
-So what? I�ve had dinner with Madonna.
-That�s nothing! I�ve had them both eating at home.
-Wow!
They can also try a dialogue with questions. Have you ever had lunch with Alicia Keys? -No way! But I would like to. -Me too...

Do your kids complain of boredom?
You can work with the text in many different ways: Cut the beginning and ending so they can guess the missing parts.
Make them write their opinion of the suggestions in the text. Would they go there if they went to London?
The students write the words in the text from their definitions in English and they can write their own definitions too.

Directions and animals
This is a great activity to practise directions and animals vocabulary. The students listen to the introduction and the text while they have the all purpose ground plan. They have to write the names of the animals in the zoo in the correct cage. Then check with the whole group. I hope you like it!
