Sentences using Adjectives
Page is cut into 6 blocks. Child takes a block and needs to write 2 sentence using adjectives about the picture. They may read their sentences to each other afterwards to check correct usuage of adjectives.

Consonant diagraph - ch - Game
In this game the learners build 12 ch-words using the picture and the different sounds of the alphabet. Print the two pages on card, laminate if possible and cut on the dotted lines. My learners start with the picture first, eg. chips = ch + i + ps

Edit the mistakes
Two pages with two sets of paragraphs with some common mistakes. Children need to read the paragraphs and edit the sentences by rewriting or circling the mistakes. I often tell them that another child had made these mistakes and that they need to play "teacher" to correct his work.

Rules about -y: * When words end in a consonant + y, change the y to i and add �es to make PLURALS, * -y usually comes at the end of a word, when a suffix (�ily or �ed) is added, change the -y to an �i * also when �ing is added to a word ending on a �y, � the �y remains
