In the kitchen Part 1 (Utensils and kitchen appliances, a few ingredients)
I hope youll enjoy this worksheet, it took me a lot of time to make it nice. It is very useful: on the second part I put all the common verbs you come upon when reading a recipe and I added a recipe for pancakes. Last week my pupils tried it at home and came back to school with pancakes. Thats why I really like being a teacher! http://www.eslprin...

Unanimo: Vocabulary game (3 out of 5)
Happy new year to all of you, Im glad to be back after one month without the internet. I hope youll enjoy this game (I didnt invent it, its a game that exists in France called Unanimo but I adapted the cards). I use it to revise vocabulary with my students at the end of a term, but also sometimes when I have 10 minutes at the end of a lesson wi...

To double or not to double the last consonant, thats the question!
My pupils never know if they have to double the last consonant when adding the suffixes -ing, -ed, -er or -est. Thats why I prepared this WS with the rule first and then an exercise (with key at the end). Thanks to ladybirds comments I updated it and added a few notes for the teacher. I hope it will be useful.
