Present Simple Cards Game
In pairs or groups, Ss match phrases from one side of their card with those on other cards, thus gaining points. Each card is worth the number of points written in the circle. Comparatives and superlatives
Two-in-one: Worksheet or Activity Cards. It worked well in my class. I used it as an activity cards set. Students worked individually to fill in one card. Then all students with the same card made a group and checked their work. Finally, each group reported their answers to class.

Christmas Cinquain (creative writing)
Students read the example poem (written by one of my students), answer the questions and write new poems. The structure being obvious, all you have to do is bring in some dictionaries to help Ss with synonyms. I always do some brainstorming before letting them write the poems.
