This worksheet is for a CLIL lesson. Together with the science teacher let the children find information about birds, let them "surf the web" or browse books. Children love the world of nature.

How do you say "Cobra" in English?
First of all I have to thank Jecika for sharing the template Ive used for this worksheet.Shes been very generous.
Ive prepared this ws because, whenever I teach vocabulary, my students always need "something different". I dont know if it happens to you, too, but if I teach the word bird, they want to learn another one: bald eagle and so on. The...

School Objects Word Search
At school children liked the word search template Angela Moreyra taught me to make, so Ive prepared another one for the little 6-7 year old pupils who now can read and write Italian and its time for them to do the same in English. The pictures are always from www.midisegni.it Ciao

My room wordsearch

Sometimes I organize a sort of "speed contest", the child or the team that complete the ws first win a prize (a candy, a sticker, whatever). An an...

Thats what I need for school
Ill have classes with 5-6 year old children during the next school year. I generally teach English using a lot of images, posters, toys, etc. and for this reason Im preparing pictionaries to scatter all around the classroom. This ws is the first in a series. The pictures are all public domain.

Its summer!
First of all I have to thank Charmed one for the template Ive used for this worksheet."Grazie".
I prepared this pictionary with my 7-year-old school children who googled the words and picked the pictures, typing "public domain" after each word. They understood the importance of respecting rules and felt very proud of themselves. We enjoyed to wor...

What do you have for lunch and dinner?
Another ws of the pictionary series.
With 5-year-old children I use it as a mere pictionary: I show the image and name it in English; with the other children I introduce the project about eating healthy food. I give them worksheets with the food pyramid (there are a lot in our site) and we do a survey on what they eat often, sometimes, never.
