The Superman dialogue from Kill Bill 2
Listening to dialogues is more challenging for my students than listening to songs. I focussed on the first 8 sentences for the first 3 listenings. It is so much more difficult than having the script in front of you. I have included a gapfill, vocabulary matching, some phrasal verbs, sequencing and some jumbled sentences. Enjoy

What a Wonderful World
A wonderful old song by Louis Armstrong. There are three activities. Firstly listen to the song and correct the mistakes
Secondly match pictures to the expressions suggested. Finally there are two gap-fills, one based on nouns, the other on verbs and adjectives. Have fun.

Please Dont Stop the Music
This is a listening and writing exercise. Students have a number of tasks to do when listening. They then create their own lyrics from "sentence starters." My students also performed their own versions of the song. It was a great laugh. I used www.youtube.com for the music. Enjoy.

This is a simple board game featuring mainly conditionals. It requires dice and counters. (or if you want it to last longer and more questions to be discussed use a coin instead of the dice.) These are questions I found off several internet dating sites. Hope you will enjoy it. All the best from downunder.

Basically they had to find a word in the dictionary that they thought the others would not know. Then they had to create three definitions using relative clauses, two would be false and ...
