calendar february 2009-Agust 2009
2nd part of a calendar I do every year. I tape it to the wall in my classroom. I ask my pupils to write their birth dates on it.
The pink parts are French holidays (Paris area) and some bank holidays.
Of course you can adapt it to your country.

TOMS DINER - Suzanne Vega
Im teaching the present continuous in class, and Im going to do this wonderful song with my pupils. Before listening to the song, they have to write present continuous form of the verbs, then they have to write the words corresponding to the pictures. music types
An interesting activity to do before holidays or between two lessons... I personnaly use it as an anticipation to a lesson about superlatives.
Ive made a CD with 12 songs (MP3). Try to find 12 different types of music (classical, funk, hip-hop, country, blues...). The kids love that activity.
