In 1897, eight-year-old Virginia O�Hanlon wrote a letter to the editor of New York�s Sun. The editor�s response was printed as an unsigned editorial and has since become history�s most reprinted newspaper editorial.
In the last lessons before Christmas I always discuss the question, if there is a Santa Claus and read this editorial to my students...
