Whats the weather like?
This is a test for the end of the first term in my school. My school children, who are about seven years old, have to show if they can read and write without my help. I think that a simple "multiple choice" exercise is the best way to help them.

School Objects Word Search
At school children liked the word search template Angela Moreyra taught me to make, so Ive prepared another one for the little 6-7 year old pupils who now can read and write Italian and its time for them to do the same in English. The pictures are always from www.midisegni.it Ciao

Leprechaun Time
This is a "listen and do" activity meant for very young children.
First the teacher tells them how to colour the picture and then he/she asks questions about the Leprechaun.
This is an opportunity to talk about Irish legends

Do you want to play with me?
This is the last pictionary I upload of this series, I promise!
When presenting this lesson, I do not miss the opportunity to talk with my young students on this topic. I say that they can have fun with simpler games than video games and the like.

Clean and fresh in the wood
My colleagues and I very often talk about personal hygiene with our young students. We prepared short videos showing animals that were cleaning themselves and their babies to draw childrens attention. I prepared the mini book Im posting in Italian and with my English classes Ill use it the way it is now. Thank you

Its summer!
First of all I have to thank Charmed one for the template Ive used for this worksheet."Grazie".
I prepared this pictionary with my 7-year-old school children who googled the words and picked the pictures, typing "public domain" after each word. They understood the importance of respecting rules and felt very proud of themselves. We enjoyed to wor...

What do you have for lunch and dinner?
Another ws of the pictionary series.
With 5-year-old children I use it as a mere pictionary: I show the image and name it in English; with the other children I introduce the project about eating healthy food. I give them worksheets with the food pyramid (there are a lot in our site) and we do a survey on what they eat often, sometimes, never.

Thats what I need for school
Ill have classes with 5-6 year old children during the next school year. I generally teach English using a lot of images, posters, toys, etc. and for this reason Im preparing pictionaries to scatter all around the classroom. This ws is the first in a series. The pictures are all public domain.
