Past and present jobs
My intention is to help children understand that many jobs started in the past because the man has always tried to satisfy his need for survival and adaptation to the environment. This ws may be used for a CLIL lesson as well.
The pictures are from www.timtim.com except for the slave, the gladiator, the sand clock, the clock and the frame. They a...

What do you have for lunch and dinner?
Another ws of the pictionary series.
With 5-year-old children I use it as a mere pictionary: I show the image and name it in English; with the other children I introduce the project about eating healthy food. I give them worksheets with the food pyramid (there are a lot in our site) and we do a survey on what they eat often, sometimes, never.

Seasons and seasons months bookmarks
There are not only bookmarks in the worksheet but also activity pages. I prepared this work for my second graders, 7-year-old children, thats why the vocabulary is very simple. The pictures are from www.midisegni.it

Matching
First of all I have to thank charmed one for the nice template that I can use with her permission.
This type of exercise goes after all the work with the various pictionaries. I check if the children have memorized the words with a "matching" exercise: the words are not just below the pictures and they have to choose the correct match.

Back to school mini book 2
This is the second mini book with school supplies pictures.
Children make the book, colour, read the images adding the colours they have used: "Ive got a green stapler" and then they ask their friends: "And what have you got?"
Another game consists in trying to guess the colours of the objects: "Have you got a red sticky tape?" and so on.

Clean and fresh in the wood
My colleagues and I very often talk about personal hygiene with our young students. We prepared short videos showing animals that were cleaning themselves and their babies to draw childrens attention. I prepared the mini book Im posting in Italian and with my English classes Ill use it the way it is now. Thank you

Its Winter
A cross curricular lesson? Maybe, but very simple! After a science lesson, the teacher of Italian and myself invented a story the children had to repeat. I made the pictionary and we had the children "read" the pictures and tell what they had learnt. I explain it in the second page of the ws.

Living and non-living things for second graders
This is my first CLIL lesson for my second graders. They have to sort the pictures and form two groups: living and non-living things. On the second page of this ws there is an extra activity for the little ones.
