Past Simple vs Continuous - pair work
Sentence race option: Ss take it in turns to make sentences. If a sentence is correct, they can move on to the next one in the next turn. If it�s incorrect, they have to make another attempt at the same sentence. The winner is the one who gets to the last sentence first.
