The Angry Birds Clip 1
This is an activity I used with Computer Science students. It features a brief writing session - retelling a story and then guessing the rest of it. You can work on the tenses with that one - the past, present and future. Then, a critical thinking activity about gaming and game adds to help students identify colloquialisms and humour. Enjoy!

Ask the students to read the text carefully or read it out to them. Students can also be asked to read a line each (if in a small group). Then, leave them some time to answer the questions. Cinema Dialogues - Group Activity
Spread students into groups. Tell them to make a story, using the vocabulary and the scene of the movie. One member of the group tells the story. Then, ask them to retell the story from different points of view. Encourage creativity - invite them to write dialogues and act them out in front of the class!
