 | Colour by number I used this with an elementary class in primary school. It`s a fun little activity where they either follow instructions to colour in, ie. Number 1 is red, so they have to know what red is..... or they choose what colour they want each number to be and then colour it in. It`s really basic, but they enjoyed it!

In Japanese, Monday = Getsu and Getsu = moon, hence a picture of a moon. Students walk around and ask each other the question, writing their friends names in the spaces provided based on their answers) I used this ...

 | Find someone who present perfect (Have you ever) This is your basic find someone who activity using present perfect. Students use the Have you ever...? form to ask their classmates questions.
My whole lesson consisted of my have you ever? worksheet, the present perfect verb cards and this worksheet. It worked well, and fits well (if a little snugly) into a 50 minute lesson. If you time the fir...

 | MYO Animal Wordsleuth In this activity, students choose animals, write them in a grid, fill it up with extra letters and then make clues for a partner to know which animals to search for. They swap worksheets when they finish filling it all in. (This way it`s more challenging than just having a list of animals to look for...they have to make some sentences using previou...

 | Snakes and Ladders Game Board - for ANY grammar point This is a game most of you probably recognize, tweaked for use in ESL! | Present Perfect verb cards I made these cards for use with my Have you ever? worksheets.
I printed off 4 sets of cards for each group of 5/6 students. This way there were lots of cards in the pick up pile, a higher chance of success and the game lasted longer meaning the students got more practice.
Dont forget to make some sort of backing for the cards. I will uplo...

*It shows up funny on the preview but its in a normal grid and all lined up. I also made backs of the cards so they cant read the verb through them....i learnt that the hard way of course.
I wrote down how I used it just in case you were interest...
