First conditional. SS will be arranged in pairs. Each pair will have a set of cards. The cards are sentences (9 sentences) which have previously been split by the teacher into 2 halves each. The aim of the activity is to find each halfs partner. The first pair to get the 9 sentences right will be the winner.

SIMULTANEOUS INTERVIEW
This simultaneous interview is very useful for the 1st day of school. Students get to know each other first by asking and answering questions and then tell the class about their classmate. Its a fun way to start the school year

must, mustnt, have to, dont have to
SS will have to complete the sentences to describe what they must, mustnt or dont have to do in different situations (on a plane and when sunbathing). Although it is simple, it has worked with my ss for revising. It also gives way for a discussion or debate on what is needed to be done to care for our safety or health. Hope it works 4 U too...
