Short auto of John Lennon.Before this reading I played Imagine with a gap fill also posted here.We talked about the song,explaining vocab,and I had them ustand it was a song of peace which led into the auto.This was a 2hr lesson.The students were engaged throughout.I hope you can use it.

This is an idea I came up with from a game called Mr and Mrs....Simply divide the class and have friends sitting apart..Then they answer q�s about their closest friend.Pick a paper at random..Have the student to front of class and his ?her best friend leave the class..have another student ask them the q�s..Ie what do you think your friend woould.do...

The World Cup
This is a schedule I downloaded from a news website and have modified.My students are football crazy.It was used to initiate conversation about games matches countries etc..We are following it for the 2 weeks forecating scores and top finishers etc..Its one of the few wsheets I have seen them keep as they want to know the outcome of there forecasts...

Optical llusions
