This is a simple guide to ordering adjectives. It lays out the basic steps for using more than two adjectives together. It can be used as either a slide on a digital whiteboard, or you can print it, both sides on one sheet of paper for the student to keep.

Passsive Quiz Game
This is a game designed to get your students using the Passive Voice. Divide the class into teams. Then, write the categories on the board. Each team can choose a category and the value of the question they want, the higher the value, the more difficult the question. The students have to answer using the passive voice in order to score points.

Present Continuous Describe the People
This is an easy overhead when in class which includes the verbs. I usually teach the present continuous forms first, then use this activity, getting the students to describe what is happening in each of the activities.

Present Continuous Picture Describing
This is a simple picture that elementary or young students can practice describing either with the teacher or in pairs. If the students have problems, the teacher could write the necessary verbs on the board, and check that the students are capable of changing the stem to its -ing form.
