Advising a ski resort
This is a webquest that we devised with my highschools English assistant. It is adapted to students studying tourism.
The objective is to have the students find information on ski resorts from a website in order to find the most appropriate one for the customers. The first scenario is to be done in class (thats why therere two on the same page)...

Multi cultural London
This is a document based on a British council video. I use it in class (sometimes with sound and video, sometimes without the sound or without the video) to have my students talk. The objective is also to study preterit and the expressions of quantity.

Message in a bottle: learning to ask basic questions.

I find there is something exciting about receiving unexpected messages and deciphering partly erased letters and this worksheet d...

Joyces Eveline
A worksheet you might use to study Joyces short story which is a good introduction to the stream of consciousness while still being understandable by students as it deals with the kind of dilemna every teenager comes to meet. I cannot publish the picture I usually use as an anticipation but I would be glad to mail it to you if you want it.

A picture is worth a thousand words
Here is a worksheet I use to have my literature students speak. It is part of my sequence on street art. I guess it can also be used as a conversation worksheet, perhaps adding the original Mona Lisa to have them interfere on the authors intention (which is already problematic in da Vincis work, and which always difficult for students to understa...
