 I played this game with my Spanish students and they really enjoyed it. You cut out the names of these famous dead people and use tape to stick them to their foreheads. They have to guess who they are asking yes/no questions in the past tense(e.g. Was I a scientist? Was I a singer? Was I Spanish? Was I a religious person? ...)

 Students are given a set of clues describing an animal. With these clues, they have to be able to complete the crossword.

 These are the lyrics to the song "Tom�s Diner" by Suzanne Vega. I left out all the verbs. The students have to listen to the song and fill in the blanks using the verb (in infinitive in brackets)in the present simple or the present continuous.
