Who�s Who?
I usually use this activity on the first day of class. it gives the students an opportunity to break the ice.
They have to go around asking everyone, including the teacher, if they fit any of the descriptions in the grid. That way they know a little bit about the people they are sharing the classroom with.

this is an activity that I give to my students as an exercise to improve on their descriptive essays.
I gave them some potato chips describe the experience of eating potato chips. They had to describe what it looks like, what it smells like, its texture, taste and the sound it makes when you bite into it.
