What Is He Wearing?
This is a comprehensive reading to teach clothes. The target language is, "He/She is wearing." It also has the question sentences. There are two questions with gap fill in the end. This lesson coincides with the English Land 2, Unit 7 lessons.

This is a reading and video lesson that I use in my adult class. It can be used in junior high and high school also. I have the class read the lesson first, and then we discuss the topic and answer any questions. Then we watch the video. The listening skill required is much less because they have already read the main points in the video.

Fun Christmas Songs - Jackson 5- I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus
This is a video and handout that is a lot of fun for the students. You can teach the vocabulary and then have fun reading and singing the song. The video has the lyrics and students have a great time singing and learning English with this song.

Do you like...? Hit or Miss
This is a simple activity that teaches the target language, "Do you like...?" It also teaches the simple Yes/No answers. I use this with the English Land 2, Unit 4 lesson, but you can use it with any lesson that teaches this. The student ask each other the questions, and the first one to find all the answers is the winner.

Oregon Trail Reading and Video
This is a reading and video lesson on the amazing Oregon Trail. It teaches American history and culture. It shows how immigrants decided to risk everything to find a better life. It is used with the video. I usually have the students read the lesson first and have a discussion about it. Then I show the video.

This is a pair work activity that teaches the past tense verbs and Wh� questions and answers. It is used with the Let�s Go 4, Unit 3, page 28-29 lesson. Students take turns asking the question and filling in the blanks. The target language and answers are included in the worksheet to make it easier.
