Murphy´s Law Domino
There´s another post by me with the same material, i.e. Murphy´s Law to practice 1rst conditional, however, that one is just a simple matching game. Then someone suggested that I made a domino game of it, so here it is. Hope it is useful and your students will like it as much as my students did. :)

Third Conditional Game
You can practice a rather difficult structure in a fun and interesting way. Your students should open doors and make decisions and then make sentences regretting them. For example, If I hadn´t opened the yellow door, I wouldn´t have become a bank manager, etc. My students loved making decisions, finding out the consequences and regretting them :P...

The Old Man and the Sea
I´ve made this worksheet to go with the 1999 short animation based on the classic "The Old Man and the Sea" by Ernest Hemingway. The length and the language of the animation make it a perfect choice for a movie session for elementary students. Here I´ve used the story to review some regular and irregular past verbs. The YOUTUBE link is included. ...

5 topics to speak about and some guidelines on how to
I made this set (and another set which I´ll upload in another post) to let my students know what topic they have to work on for their lecture day and help them get started. You can cut out the cards and give them to your students randomly and then ask them to read out the numbers in the orange boxes so that "you" know what each student is going to...

What Would You Do If...?!
Some activity cards to practice 2nd conditional. Cut out the cards and put them in envelopes. Put students in groups or pairs. Give each group/pair an envelope. Students in turn draw out a card and ask the other student/s the question written on the card. Set a time limit and monitor to correct possible mistakes or help with the needed vocabulary.

Sports Board Game
I´ve noticed that my students sometimes tend to get really bored when they have to discuss topics they think are not interesting at all (especially those provided in the book), and the result is that they don´t really get involved. So I decided to make this game to make them more involved and interested (when doing the activities in the book which ...

Grammar/Vocabulary Review Board Game
You can use this board game to review anything. I used it to review the names of planets in our solar system and the superlative/comparative forms, but you can edit the question cards to match your own teaching material. Then use the same board and go through a space odyssey with your students. They will love it.

Grammar Auction
Ok, I don´t mean to be bragging, but I LOVE this powerpoint, and so do my students. The idea, however, is not originally mine. I took it from American English File 4 (Oxford University Press), but then again, the powerpoint and its content are a 100 percent my own design. Play the game and have a ...
