Listening Exercise and Discussion Using "The Sandlot"
To be used with perhaps the most famous scene of "The Sandlot" - near the end of the film when the boys are trying to retrieve the ball from over the fence. The background information and discussion questions should be dealt with before viewing. I let my kids watch it twice before collecting this assignment.

Prefix and Suffix Pretest
Here is the pretest that I gave my students on prefixes and suffixes. They were allowed to use their notes, as well as the review while taking it. They did, however, still find it quite difficult.

Prefix and Suffix Quiz/Test
This is the actual quiz/test that I gave my students. I struggled with whether to allow them to use their notes or not.
