Description of place: My house, my bedroom. There is/are; It has
A worksheet I made that encourages students to reflect on word order in English and to use this to write a description of a bedroom through a series of activities using an inductive approach to grammar. It is quite challenging but accessible at the same time. My students really enjoyed it and got a lot out of it.

Comprehension - Past Simple, Adjectives and Past Continuous
This is a fun worksheet about a baby chimp that escaped its enclosure. It is a great way of introducing newspaper articles. It includes a matching task, cloze passage and comprehension questions with questions words. There are also subtle uses of the past continuous and a lot of adjectives have been incorporated throughout.
