 Students write their own urban legends making sure each story has all the elements of an urban legend as detailed in the assignment. This make for an outstanding hook for low motivated writers especially if you share some urban legends both in print and film (ie. Wizard of Oz, Three Men and a Baby, Lion King) etc. before you begin!

 		 Letter to Self- To be mailed upon graduation
 Students write a letter to themselves and fill out a standard self addressed stamped envelope. The letters are then checked for completion, sealed and mailed to them by their teacher their senior year of high school! Awesome end of the year assignment!
