In class we have been talking about water "blue gold", oil, "black gold" and our "blue" planet. I decided to enlarge students� knowledge on colour idoms. Last year I did something similar with "gold", which I have also uploaded.

This is an activity I have devised for a speaking test.
It�s a semi-open activity with pre-established roles.
I�ve implemented it and it works very well.
There was also peer assessment. To get familiar with the assessment criteria, all the students received a grid and had to take some notes on the others� competences.
