"Tell Me About..." Conversation Questions
I like to organize my classes according to grammar, but the goal is to get my students DOING as much as possible instead of just filling out interminable worksheets. At the beginning of class, especially with my younger kids, I like to give them time to ask each other questions... But Im getting a little tired of "Whats your favorite ______?"...

Once the students started getting the hang of it, I started testing them ("show me how, show m...

I Can Describe Clothes!
I used this with my 10-year-old beginning students after they had already learned clothes and colors to get them to think about singular and plural words and adjective placement. (So, the answers will be "The SHIRT is ORANGE.... It is an ORANGE SHIRT." "The PANTS are BLUE.... They are BLUE PANTS.")
