Palmistry - The art of palm reading
A reading text and lesson plan about fortune telling and palm reading. This is a really interesting lesson for students from about 10 years old, up to adult. Its a lot of fun when they read each others palms, and it prompts interesting discussions about how true fortune telling is.

Red Lorry, Yellow Lorry
This game is based on the bingo type game called Red Dog, Blue Dog from Orchard toys. I have made my own game cards that work in the same way. You should print the game cards (enough for up to 8 players) and the tokens. There is a back print at the end, if you want to print on the back of the tokens so you dont lose them. Cut up the tokens up.

Male, Female and Baby Animals
Students must circle the names for male, female and baby farm animals. You can then instruct them to colour the animals if you wish... such as colour the horse brown etc. to add a listening and understanding element.

Make a Pizza!
This is a lesson plan I made for my private classes. It can be done over 2 or 3 lessons, and has vocabulary introduction, a song and a final communicative activity.
The children basically learn about food by making a pizza :)
Even if you dont use the whole plan, the printable on page 2 is useful enough.

Speaking activity to practise numbers and the alphabet
This is a pair or partners activity where the student has to firstly find out the letters on their card by asking their partner, then once they have the letters, they must read their sentence and answer it to win.
Very good for practising numbers and the alphabet and, of course, it gets them speaking! :)

Around Town - Information Gap and Directions activity
An information gap activity for directions and places in a town. The students first fill in the places and then ask and give directions. The great thing is, because they fill in the places themselves, you can easily use it more than once with the same group.
