ADJECTIVE ORDER
I wrrit the word QSAOT on the board and ask if they know what it means. Ask them to look it up in the dic. They feel intrigued because this word does not exist. Then I tell them that the letters represent - quality, size,age, origin and type - the order in which adjectives must come in English. Then they have to do the exercise that follows.
