Find Someone Who- A wonderful and fun activity for conversation and student interaction.
My students love this activity. It is a wonderful chance for them to practice their conversation in a group exercise. Plus, they get to learn a lot about each other!

It Feels Like Fall
The first part is a cloze exercise that teaches some fall vocabulary. The second part has students answer some questions in full sentences. The instructor can then go on the computer to show the students photos of fall foliage.

A speaking activity to reinforce a lesson on the simple past of regular and irregular verbs. Students answer in full sentences. They need to tell which is the past-tense verb and whether it is regular or irregular by identifying the root verb.

Thanksgiving traditions reading with two worksheets. The first is a multiple choice. The second is a question and answer. This is a good springboard activity for a discussion of similar holidays around the world. I also follow this with writing and discussion about things we are grateful for in our lives.
