Physical descrptions
Little children love movie and tv characters. It is easy and natural for them to describe them. While teaching how to describe a person, I used to give my young students a picture of a well known cartoon character to describe it fully. they enjoyed it a lot and they came out with very long and deteiled descriptions. SEQUENCERS - WRITING
This ws introduced Ss to sequencers. It is very simple and I designed in a way that Ss realized that paragraphs/ ideas have an order and it is important for them to establish it when writing. It worked wonderfully with my Ss. They are 9 years old and they are learning for the first time to write a story consisting of more than one paragraph. Enjoy!
