Confessions of a shopaholic (Clothes vocabulary)
Ss always love watching videos in class. I used the first scene of this funny movie as a warm-up to estimulate my ss to talk about the topic of shopping and also to introduce some vocabulary related to that topic. Hope you like it.

Bon Jovis video Misunderstood
This is a fun way to practice a little more the use of Simple Past. This video has an interesting story to explore with your students. While the students listen to the song, they focus their attention in the story told in the video, reading the subtitles in English. My students just love it.

The Kid (filme) - past simple verb to be
Ive used this activity with my teenage group at Yzigi to practice the past simple form of the verb to be. You just have to rent the movie and show them the scene where the man finds the boy at his house for the first time until the wedding scene. This part of the movie takes about 20 minutes.
