 		 Shapes and Colors Relay Race
 This is a great game to use with groups that are normally quiet--it gets them speaking. It is active and interesting. Plus, the students cheer each other on!

This is a first-meeting assignment. I will ask my students to draw a picture of themselves inside the star and write 5 descriptive words about themselves--one at each point of the star. They will need to fill out the remaining sentences and share at our next meeting.

Cooking Show
 I used this as a "plan" for small groups to use when making their own "Cooking Show"-- modeled after popular cooking shows on T.V. etc. The students were more comfortable doing the presentation in front of a camera than in front of their peers. It was A LOT of fun for all! YUM!
