Fireflies - Song worksheet
You can make an extra copy of the song, cut out just the pictures, and put the pictures in a box/bag. After working with the song, each student must draw a picture from the box/bag (without choosing, of course), and make a sentence or ask a question using the word. Just to consolidate new vocabulary.

Mine, by Taylor Swift
Students are asked to complete the lyrics with the words they think might fit in the blanks. If they need hints, the words that were taken out are listed, but in alphabetical order, not in the order they come in the song. Last, they listen to the song to check if their guesses were right.

Lucky, by Jason Mraz
This activity works better if students dont know the lyrics of the song by heart, because then theyll have to activate their schemata in order to predict which word best completes each verse. It is a slow song, good to sing along.

Whats this?
Students must guess what the object is by looking at only part of it. As a follow up, students can look for pictures of objects in magazines, cut a part of them out (making sure a hint is left in every picture) and ask their classmates to guess what the objects are.

What is this?
I made this worksheet because I wanted to give a cntext to the question "what is this?" instead of having students only practicing display questions (questions whose answers were obvious). You can either give each student a worksheet, or you can cur out the pictures, paste each one to a numbered card, hang the cards on the walls of the classroom, a...
