Safety and Danger
When introudcing the topic of safety and dangers I always start here. I hope it covers the main areas to be considered - emergencies, health, drugs, food hygiene, fire safety, electirical safety and personal safety. I then get students to select which ones they would like to look at in detail.

This worksheet is best used after my �How to fill in a form 1� worksheet. It helps students become familiar with how to give personal information about themself. A great worksheet fro introducin countryside vocaublary. Sutiable for very low level students who need pictures to support vocaubulary learning. I use this in conjunction with the �Countryside Code in Pictures� worksheet and it works well with a total beginner group when preparing for a trip to the countryside.

This is a reading comprehension about Barack Obama�s victory last year in 2008. It is quite simple and therefore a nice way to ease beginners in to reading comprehensions. It uses a real newspaper article which is good practice.
