Brain Teasers/Funny IQ Test
I uses this as an oral lesson. I tell the kids that they will have a test and I will be keeping score. I tell them that if they get the answer right (as a group) then they (as a group) get the point and if they get the question wrong... THE POINT IS MINE! I tell them that if I win I will give them extra homework, so they try a little harder.

Like A Surgeon Weird Al
This is an addition to my medical unit. Weird Al does a parody of Madonnas Like a Virgin. Great way to introduce some medical words in a humorous way. BTW, check out Weird Al on the web. (The address for this song on the first page will take you to his youtube site.) Look up Weird Al and grammar lessons. He is just priceless!

Transportation Flashcards 1 of 3 (water based transportation)
This is the first set of flashcards with 8 cards about transportation (on water). I found that my students are more likely to speak if I place posters/flashcards around my classroom to give them the vocabulary to draw from when they are speaking in class.

The A Team - season 1 episode 3
