Our ideal home
I use this worksheet as a final task after a lesson on homes and house. It is supposed to be a group work. The students work together in order to imagine what their ideal home could be like. They speak in turns. They can use either a poster or a PowerPoint presentation to show the class while they are speaking.

Introduce yourself elementary
This worksheet is for young secondary school learners of English as a foreign or a second language. I use it with my French-speaking 7th graders. It can be used for writing about oneself, as a short essay or in a email. It can also be useful to help students prepare a speaking activity.

Malala UN speech
It is based on a short YouTube video summarizing Malalas speech at the United Nations on her 16th birthday. I have just been using it to get my 9th graders to work on teens involvement. I think that such a "real life" material is more interesting for teenagers than any material you can find in students books.

My bedroom - speaking task
It is a worksheet I use to help my ESL EFL students to prepare a description of their room. The students can speak to their classmates or record their voice to describe a photo or a series of photos of their room.

Activities on Sam Cooke Wonderful World
The students should watch the video with subtitles, listen to the song and fill in the spaces in the text (lyrics). It is a good way of learning school subjects. Then they can do some speaking activities about themselves and school subjects (interview a friend and report to the class)
