"Cooler Than Me" song lyric activity
Students listen to and watch the video for a current pop hit, "Cooler Than Me," and fill in missing lyrics. They review the colloquial definition of "cool" and the phrase pattern "[adj] er than [noun]." Then they role play using 2 short scenes, while other students guess which partner is acting "cooler."
