After having taught the difference in use between the simple present and the present continuous,and,as far as my pupilsī accessement is through skills tests,I did this one to test their speaking capacity, giving them the adequate clues. The 300 m hurdles- game
Each pupil has to fill in the blank spaces with the correct missing word. They only have 30 minutes to " jump" over the 30 hurdles. The winner will be the student who first finishes the race , but also the one who gets more points. The gold medallist has to jump over the 30 hurdles and gets a prize. They all love games.
