Compound nouns in the house
The student matches words to make compound nouns. Then a light-hearted poem is given with the wrong compound nouns. The student has to correct the sentences in order that they make sense.

I wrote this lesson plan to explain the present continuous (progressive) to a Polish housekeeper. She was leaving out the "to be" verb. "I ironing." I created a language sample that concerns two maids who are competing against each other in a game show.
