Reading Comprehension: Nothing left to lose (homeless teenagers)
This is a reading comprehension I created for my students (9th grade, 5th year of English). The text is taken from Morton Rhue`s "Asphalt tribe", a book about homeless teenagers in the US. Why English is such a complicated language - working with dictionaries
My advanced students had to work with English-English dictionaries and this is one of the worksheet they got, a humorous approach to the English language. Elementary Pronunciation Practice (Key included)

Describing a picture
