It�s an exercise to drill the -ing form which follows verbs: to like, to love, not to like, hate. The pupils are supposed to put the verb in the correct form (minding the "S" if writing about the 3rd person sing.) and in the second exercise they�re supposed to make a correct "ing" form of the verbs given.
