Horror Story
This is an old story that has been told time and time again which I have turned into a "guess-what-happened-next" activity. Read the instructions and off you go. This could also be used as a means to practicing connectors. Perhaps not a good idea for the younger classes!

Put the story in order
A little story I wrote for a class of police officers. It seemed to amuse them. Read the instructions and off you go! Works best for small groups. For bigger groups, get the students who need the most practice to read, while the rest are divided into groups to work as a team putting the text into the right order.

Irregular Past Verb Practice Illustration
Thanks to Bruna Dutra for her notebook template. Use this as you see fit. This is a speaking aid. I tend to get the students to ask, "What did she do on Monday the First?" hoping that they respond with, "She took the train to London."
