A WS you can use before any film study. While studying a scene, my students are able to refer to the types of camera shots and the effect it conveys on the viewer. Here is an explanation of the main camera shots, with simple definitions and a shot from the film "Ice Age" as an example; students have to match the definition and picture to the impression conveyed by each shot (box on the right).
