Dumb question, but I had to ask

HI!
I also use b&w mostly, but I print some colour wss in colour at home for special occasions, or the wss which are not used individually but one per group. We have also been blessed with an overhead projector, which makes teaching even better. But frankly, whatever you have or don t have - all depends on your inspiration - if you like a piece of material you will not even need it as a ws, you ll be able to use it for a word game, listening practice, class poster, etc. Making the most of what you have can sometimes really be inspiring... My first wss were hand drawn and copied for sts by hand using the blue inky-copying paper (we call it indigo in Croatia, sorry, it s ancient, so there s probably not even a word for it any more), and now I m here. And my sts still like it best when I draw them something by hand - for them it s like a miracle...

Well, surely coloured worksheets are too expensive. Although we do have a coloured printer at school we are not supposed to use it extensively...

This year I have decided to give coloured worksheets only to those Ss who get full marks in my tests, as an incentive.  We ll see how it goes...
