Wow! None of the other teachers at that school have offered to help you? Shame on them! I can show you my syllabi for 9-12 high school, but I don t know if it is what you really need. Please send me your email in a private message if you want to see what I have.
Good Luck!

Hello, First of all try to be calm and not to panic - it won t help you. If you work at a private school as an English teacher then the books that you use can themselves help you. Just look at the contents table and you will find out what each level should achieve. If you work at a state school, then I am sure there must be a syllabous given by the ministry that deals with education and schools - a book that tells you which grammar and vocabulary items you should be teaching each term. Anyway, you can go to a bookshop where they sell English language books and have a look at the contents if you don t have any coursebooks yourself.
Hope that I helped. I don t have much free time otherwise I would scan the contents pages for you. Maybe you can find web pages where various publishers advertise their books and display these pages.

Hi Mathew,
Try to calm down. I would prepare some games in order to break the ice, get to know your students and their knowledge of the language. It would be a good idea to do something to make them tell you what they like/dislike doing/learning...anything useful for you to make up a syllabus all of you enjoy.
Then, by talking to the other teachers/school authorities, you can get the rest of the info you need.
Relax...Youll do very well!
Edited: OMG need an urgent course on typing...
