What�s the right meaning of "The guide addressed her in French"  and "Don�t get me wrong"?

The guide addressed her in French, means that the guide called her /her attention in French... meaning, when he needed to talk to her... he did it in French.
 
Don �t get me wrong... do not misunderstand what I am saying...
 
Hope my instinct is right...

is when she is spoken to in the French language by the guide.
and
"Don�t get me wrong"
is when the person doesn �t want to be misunderstood when talking or saying something.
