It �s absolutely normal. I remember once there was a native speaker observer in my class when i was still a fresh junior teacher. I misspelled a word and didn �t discover it till the end of the lesson when i was about to leave the class so i returned back for the board and told the sts "Oh, m sorry the correct spelling is .....and i wrote it" i was too worried that this wd negatively affect my evaluation, but do u know wt?? the observer praised what i did & she was impressed and since then i follow the same procedure if smthing wrong happened.
 
I wd support everyone else, just let it go
