A Doubt!!

Hi everybody!!! I  was discussing with my classmates about the use of a preposition. Here goes the example: We meet you on the weekend / at the weekend.

I live with an American girl and she said that ON the weekend is the correct option. My classmates said it is AT the weekend.

Maybe there is a difference between American and British English!

Can any of you clarify the idea? thanks in advance...

Hi Sabrinita,

Well, both are correct. British English: at the weekend OR at weekends (in general) / US English: on the weekend OR on weekends (in general).

Hope it helps!!
