Paper houses of all sorts...

You may find them useful for teaching about cities, towns and neighbourhoods.  Children can design and label their homes. Some are good for bird houses as part of a nature/animal theme.  Children can re-use calendars and wrapping paper as part of a recycling unit.  Some can also be used to create a fun Christmas display or floating city hanging from the ceiling.
