Syllabus for Elementary ESL Class?

Hi all!

I teach ESL to beginning students ages 13-18.  The books we use at my school are very disjointed and don t flow well or build on prior knowledge.  I have been creating my own curriculum guide as I go, but I have nothing great to guide me.  I searched for "syllabus" and "elementary" on the search engine, but there isn t much.  Do any of you know a resource I can use?  I have a list of standards to cover, but I would like to have a guide that shows when to introduce new things and the content that is generally covered in an elementary class (grammar, vocabulary, phonetics, etc).

Thank you!
Suzanne
